“The common thread running through Russian propaganda and disinformation is  the deliberate exploitation of Poles’ sense of threat, isolation, and injustice,”  emphasises Professor Marek Melnyk of the University of Warmia and Mazury. “The  aim is to convince people that the state cannot protect them and that their allies  cannot be trusted.”
