Prime Minister Donald Tusk has assured the public that Poland is prepared for any potential provocations related to the Zapad 2025 military exercises.
While there is no indication that Zapad 2025 serves as cover for an attack on NATO territory, Russian provocations during the exercises cannot be ruled out. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has assured that Poland is prepared for any potential provocations.
“Simultaneously with the Zapad 2025 exercises, NATO countries are conducting their own manoeuvres to ensure that any potential adversary has no doubt about our readiness,” the Prime Minister stated.
The Russian–Belarusian exercises are scheduled to continue until 16 September. The exercises are expected to include planning for the use of nuclear weapons.
