A deepfake video is circulating on social media, falsely claiming that Ukrainian soldiers attacked Polish troops at the Polish–Ukrainian border. The clip—widely shared on TikTok and Facebook—has received hundreds of thousands of views.
The creator of the video claims that one Polish soldier was seriously injured and hospitalised and says that Ukrainian soldiers “training in Poland” disguised themselves in Polish uniforms to carry out the supposed assault. “Ukrainians in Polish uniforms beat Polish soldiers,” the author of the recording lies.

This narrative is yet another lie and a clear example of Russian disinformation.
“The information circulating online, claiming that Ukrainian citizens assaulted Polish soldiers at the Polish–Ukrainian border, is COMPLETELY FAKE. No such incident occurred. This is a classic example of disinformation designed to incite emotions. We urge responsible information consumption! Before sharing a post or comment, verify the source. Rely only on credible and official statements. Disinformation is effective only when we allow ourselves to be deceived. Do not spread lies,” the Polish Ministry of National Defence appealed to the public.
